cities, St. Petersburg has all the ingredients, necessary for an

unforgettable travel experience: high art, lavish architecture, wild

nightlife, an extraordinary history and rich cultural traditions that

have inspired and nurtured many of the modern world greatest

literature, music, and visual art. From the mysterious twilight of

White Nights to world-beating opera and ballet productions,

St. Petersburg charms and entices everybody, regardless of

the season.

Day 02: Peter and Paul Fortress and Hermitage

After breakfast you will visit the Peter and Paul Fortress,

one of the most significant sites in the city. You will then

visit St. Isaac's Cathedral and have a traditional Russian

lunch at the "NEP" restaurant, situated in Dvortsovaya

Square. In the afternoon you will venture to the Hermitage,

the largest collection of Russian art on earth and one of the

finest collections of art in the world.

Day 03: Catherine's Palace and Paul's Palace

Catherine's Palace is located on the outskirts of St. Petersburg.

A gift by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine, the Palace is a

striking example of baroque architecture with its gorgeous interiors

that are more than spectacular. The so-called Golden Enfilade

of state rooms, designed by Rastrelli, is particularly renowned and

forms the focus of the palace tour.

Day 04: Peterhof

Many of Russia's noble families were reluctant to move

their residences to Peter the Great's new northern capital

and the Tsar was forced to issue a decree banning to build

elsewhere in the country, so as to ensure that the nation's

wealth and construction skills were transferred to St.

Day 05: Yusupov Palace

The Yusupov Palace located on Moika Embankment is one

of the most beautiful examples of classicism style

constructions in Saint Petersburg. Decorated with

six-column portico, the Palace delights with harmony

of proportions and silhouette elegancy. It is best known

as the Palace on the Moika River where Grigory Rasputin

was murdered in 1916.

Day 06: Free day

old palaces and golden cathedrals blend it into a city

straight out of a dream!
