In 1982 on the bank of the Moscow River, in the administrative and business center of Moscow, the new 14-story building of the Oktyabrskaya Hotel appeared. In 1992 the hotel was renamed President Hotel. Almost at once the perfectly equipped hotel became popular with numerous foreign delegations and businesspeople. For more than 20 years of its existence the President Hotel has welcomed heads of many states, political leaders and prime ministers as well as outstanding scientists, artists and actors. Among them one could mention Mikhail Gorbachev, Albert Gore, Fidel Castro, Boris Eltsin, Leonid Kuchma, the patriarch of all Russia Aleksey II and many others. Thanks to the effective security system, unique technical equipment and high standards of services the President Hotel regularly houses the largest governmental arrangements, intergovernmental and interparliamentary commissions, informal meetings and many other prestigious events. The President Hotel supervised by the Russian Federation President Administrative Department has been awarded, more than once, as the Best Congress Hotel of Moscow..

Restaurants

• Hotel President Hotel At the President Hotel there are two restaurants (the Assembly and the Yakimanka) and a cozy bar. All establishments offer their guests menus comprised of the best dishes of Russian and European cuisines, wine carte boasting of an outstanding selection of wines, attentive service, pleasant atmosphere and live music.
  
  Yakimanka Restaurant
  Breakfasts and lunches are served at the Yakimanka Restaurant that is open since 7 a.m. till 6 p.m. Its menu features primary dishes of Russian and European cuisines, different hot and cold drinks and cocktails.
  
  Assembly Restaurant
  The Assembly Restaurant that is the night restaurant of authorial cuisines has been named in honor of the famous gala-dinners of Peter the Great times. The restaurant works since 6 p.m. till 12 p.m. The menu features variations on classic Russian and European cuisines with some elements of Oriental cuisine.
  
  Aurora Bar
  The Aurora Bar that is open round the clock is perfect for coffee-breaks and business-lunches as well as for meeting with business partners and friends. The guests are offered the wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, appetizing snacks and desserts. The President-Hotel also offers several stylishly furbished banquet halls that are the perfect place to hold a corporate meeting, gala dinner or reception. Rooms

The President Hotel offers 208 guestrooms of different categories (from comfortable standard rooms to luxurious suites) and can accommodate at once up to 350 guests. The standard list of in-room amenities meets the highest international standards. Each room of the President Hotel comes equipped with satellite TV, direct-dial phone, individually controlled conditioning and heating systems, Internet access, spacious desk, soundproof windows and doors, electronic keys, safe and refrigerator. If necessary a room can be provided with mini-bar, video player or baby cradle. In each bathroom equipped with bathtub and shower cabin (except for single standard rooms), there is hair-dryer, necessary toilet articles, mirror, bathrobes, slippers and towels.

Standard Room
Standard rooms measuring 27 sq. m. consist of a living room and a bathroom. The room features the total range of standard en-room amenities and is equipped with a single bed (1.2 m x 2 m). The standard room overlooks the Moscow River or Bolshaya Yakimanka Street.

Deluxe Room
The deluxe rooms each about 69 sq. m. in size are of two types - with one Queen size bed and with two separate beds. The deluxe rooms boast view of the Moscow River or Bolshaya Yakimanka Street.
